If you're passionate about designing networking systems that combine AI innovation with enterprise-grade security, this is your chance to make an impact. #MSFTSecurity, #NetworkAccess #IdentityAccess #AIAccess #AI #MCP #Firewall #GlobalService Responsibilities * Work on Requirements: Work with the Product and Engineering team members to design and develop large scale distributed software services and solutions. * Work on Design: System design through well-defined interfaces across multiple components, code reviews, leveraging data/telemetry to make decisions, facilitate design reviews * Work on Implementation: Develop "best-in-class" engineering for our services by ensuring that the services and the components are well-defined and modularized, secure, reliable, diagnosable, actively monitored and reusable. * Work on Quality: Improve test coverage for services, organize and implement integration tests, and resolve problem areas. * Work on Deployment: Consider testability, portability/monitoring, reliability, and maintainability, and understand when code is ready to be shared and delivered. * Work with Customer in mind: Gain a working understanding of Microsoft businesses and collaborate with mentors and leaders to contribute to cohesive, end-to-end experiences for our users. * Work on Operations: Troubleshoot and optimize automation, reliability, and monitoring for Live Site. * Work with AI: Accelerate responsible AI adoption across engineering (AI-assisted design, coding, testing, and operations); establish best practices, guardrails, and success metrics to measurably improve outcomes. * Embody our Culture and Values Qualifications Required Qualifications:

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
