Dana is a global leader in the supply of highly engineered driveline, sealing, and thermal-management technologies that improve the efficiency and performance of vehicles with both conventional and alternative-energy powertrains. Serving two primary markets - passenger vehicle and commercial truck - Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities. Job Purpose This position is responsible for driving revenue by selling Dana products remotely via phone, email, and video conferencing from an office setting. They will focus on prospecting, qualifying leads, and nurturing existing customer relationships. The individual will focus on closing deals using our CRM tools to hit sales targets on specific accounts, as well as future account growth management and development. The individual will also help to coordinate and collaborate with the field sales, marketing, and product management, supporting the communication of strategic product and program launches in the US and Canada. Job Duties and Responsibilities Conduct outbound calls and emails to engage prospects and generate qualified leads Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and convert them into sales opportunities Present and explain products or services to prospective customers Manage and update CRM records with accurate call notes and activity logs Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas Collaborate with sales managers, marketing, and customer service to improve lead quality and close rates Schedule follow-ups and nurture leads through the sales funnel Stay up to date on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings Track performance metrics such as call volume, conversion rate, and deal size Participate in sales training, role-play sessions, and team meetings Qualifications Persuasive, consultative communication style Resilience and ability to handle rejection Active listening and customer needs discovery Strong time management and goal orientation Collaboration and adaptability in a dynamic environment Experience in account management and use of Salesforce.com Collaborative approach to drive appointments for field sales representatives Entrepreneurial spirited to drive creative and new business opportunities Excellence phone and teleconference presence Strong in written communication Negotiation, closing, and prospecting skills. EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business or equivalent work experience Microsoft Office Suite and business ERP Systems (SAP) a plus Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platform PowerBI a plus Skills and Competencies Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Applications, and Salesforce.com.
