The Shipper & Receiver's primary responsibility is to manage the daily receipts and shipments for the facility. It includes packaging and labeling of all outgoing material and as well as a transfer of inventory for all incoming products. This role is required to be familiar with forklift operation and proper lifting techniques associated with moving and handling of material. A day in the life of a Shipper & Receiver can look like

Specific vision requirements for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. During the performance of his/her work duties, the incumbent will be required to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, and will frequently lift up to 25 pounds such as moving parts from material storage and moving parts in and out of work area.
