Job Summary This role supports the Digital Insights & Analytics team at FedEx, focused on analytics for a growing portfolio of API-based digital products that enable transportation revenue and generate incremental digital revenue. This includes commercialized and emerging API offerings such as tracking, webhooks, and related premium capabilities, as well as analytics support for adjacent initiatives across shipping and returns fraud, sustainability, conversion tools, alliance partnerships, and predictive delivery estimates. The business need for this role is driven by increasing product complexity and rising expectations from product, platform, and commercial teams. Analytics support in this space now extends beyond reporting into solution design, data modeling, automation, and fast technical problem-solving. We need a senior analyst who can take ownership of work end-to-end, from clarifying the business question and designing the analytical approach, through execution in Python and SQL, to delivery of insights and recommendations, without ongoing handholding or rework. This role will partner closely with product managers, API engineers, analytics engineers, and sales stakeholders to support API lifecycle analytics, including adoption, usage, retention, churn, and commercialization performance. The analyst will be expected to independently manage projects, validate data definitions and assumptions, and deliver scalable, repeatable solutions that can be operationalized over time. Questions related to API usage, data quality, customer impact, and platform behavior often require same-day investigation and response, requiring fast turnaround, clear communication, and high confidence from stakeholders, while also enabling effective delegation of complex projects that require real-time collaboration and judgment.
