Security Officer Driving position

As a Security Officer Access Check Driver in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage vehicle and visitor access, and support smooth site operations through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, review visitor and driver activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas.
• Document and report incidents, suspicious activity, and access-related concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Communicate with site contacts, drivers, vendors, and/or transport personnel regarding entry procedures, badge requirements, and delivery access instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, as assigned, while observing for unusual conditions and reporting security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
