Overview TEKsystems is partnering with a growing software company within the fleet management space to hire an experienced Sales Account Executive. Our client delivers a fleet management software solution used by fleet focused organizations, with a strong customer base in the public sector and government related environments.
Due to continued growth across the US, this organization is expanding its sales team and seeking a results driven hunter to support new logo acquisition across a central US territory. The Opportunity This Account Executive role is responsible for selling a core fleet management software solution through an outbound heavy sales motion. The role owns the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, with a focus on new customer acquisition. Account Executives regularly conduct live product demos, manage longer sales cycles of approximately six months, and partner with internal teams for a structured handoff following the sale. While there is limited ongoing account management, strong follow up and relationship building during the sales process is critical. This opportunity is ideal for sellers who thrive in metrics focused, quota driven environments and take pride in their ability to communicate value and sell with confidence. What You Will Do * Generate pipeline through outbound prospecting activities including phone, email, and LinkedIn outreach * Identify and engage key decision makers within fleet focused organizations * Conduct live product demonstrations tied to operational and business needs * Manage opportunities from discovery through negotiation and close * Achieve sales quotas tied to revenue, attainment, and new logo acquisition * Maintain accurate CRM records, activity tracking, and forecasting * Travel within the assigned territory for customer meetings and demos as needed * Partner with internal teams to ensure a smooth post sale transition What We Are Looking For * Experience as an Account Executive in fleet management, SaaS, or vertical software sales * Proven success in outbound prospecting and pipeline generation * Experience running demos and managing longer sales cycles * Comfort working in a performance driven, quota focused environment * Strong self presentation and ability to clearly articulate value * High quality, well presented resume reflecting authentic experience *Preferred Experience:* * Fleet management or telematics sales * Public sector, government, or regulated customer exposure * Ownership of a regional or territory based sales role Why this role? * Opportunity to represent an established and growing software provider * Competitive compensation with uncapped earning potential * Fully remote role with defined territory ownership * Exposure to a stable and mission critical customer base * Support from a dedicated TEKsystems recruiting team throughout the hiring process *Job Type & Location* This is a Permanent position based out of Kansas City, MO. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
