Senior Lead Engineer, IT Infrastructure

Location: Hybrid (Morristown, NJ)

Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, detailoriented Senior Lead Engineer, IT Infrastructure to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of IT support, hardware logistics, and data center work. This hybrid position will support our Morristown, NJ office, and various data centers in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania to provide end-level support to ensure smooth daily operations across all sites, endpoints, and infrastructure equipment. The position requires you to be onsite in our Morristown, NJ office three days a week, and will need to travel to our remote sites when required. This position will also require on-call rotational support.

Key Responsibilities

• EndUser & Endpoint Support, creating and performing ticket closures within Service Now.
• Provide onsite technical support for employees and our executive team in the Morristown, NJ office and periodic support for the NYC office.
• Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Windows and macOS endpoints.
• Administer and maintain devices through Microsoft Intune, including enrollment, compliance, and application deployment.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Conference Room & AV Support and to be available in the early morning to arrive onsite and test all equipment and resolve all issues before meetings begin.
• Troubleshoot and maintain conference room equipment, including displays, audio systems, video conferencing tools, and connectivity issues and ensure meeting spaces remain fully operational and user friendly.
• Data Center & Infrastructure Support, for example, visit all Majesco data centers as needed to assist with handson tasks.
• Rack, stack, cable, and label server and network equipment following established standards.
• Have previous exposure and understanding of VMWare / Nutanix hypervisor technology and to be able to support and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Maintain a small budget for peripherals and various repairs.
• Can own and manage IT processes, such as laptop purchases, laptop order distribution, user onboarding/offboarding, legal hold requests and keep these procedures (including others) updated.

What you will bring

• 3-5 plus years of IT support with equivalent handson background.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and common enterprise applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and Jamf MDM/endpoint management platforms.
• Familiarity with conference room technologies (Teams Rooms, AV hardware).
• Ability to lift and move equipment (up to ~40 lbs.) for data center and office tasks.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between offices and data centers as required.
• VMWare / Nutanix hypervisor(s)

Bonus Points

• Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID / AWS.
• Understand networking concepts (VLANs, DHCP, DNS).
• Prior exposure to server hardware or data center environments.
• Knowledge of asset management best practices.

What Majesco Offers:

Majesco is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000.
