As a Security Officer NYS Licensed Patrol Detail in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Our Security Officers monitor and patrol assigned areas at a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will conduct routine patrols, support access awareness, and respond to site needs with professionalism. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, public areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and staff entry as required by site procedures, and report suspicious persons, items, and/or activities to site contacts and Allied Universal management.
• Support a professional environment by following post orders, maintaining awareness of location conditions, and assisting with security-related concerns involving employees, visitors, and/or members of the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• 1 or more years of security-related experience are required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
