Overview Going through an integration for time and attendance, with the OBBA there's a need to qualify and disqualify time but in order for W-2s to be correct they need to do a new project for setting up old legacy system by June 30th in order for W-2s to be transitioned and integrated so they can not be overcharged. This role reports directly to the Enterprise Systems Manager. Top Skills Required * Time and Attendance * Configuration * Local Government Experience Nice to Haves * UKG * Workday * Kronos Responsibilities Systems Maintenance & Support * Performs systems maintenance tasks and monitors systems performance to ensure efficiency of applications * Troubleshoots system problems and prepares specifications for system changes and enhancements * Coordinates enhancements and upgrades to office computer systems * Diagnoses and resolves operational problems in programs and software * Provides second tier helpdesk support for enterprise applications Systems Analysis & Design * Translates user requirements into system, equipment, and program specifications * Analyzes, designs, and prepares specifications for system changes and enhancements * Conducts information technology needs analysis working with appraisal staff, transfer department staff, and management * Works on design of programs and oversees maintenance of computerized administrative programs Appraisal Systems * Develops, prepares, and maintains residential and commercial appraisal systems including cost manuals and tables * Establishes and maintains guidelines to produce accurate and equitable residential property values using statistical analysis, Microsoft Access, ArcMap, local market indicators, and the CAMA system * Verifies and reviews accuracy of information prior to Land Book entry * Works with appraisers to meet specific system needs Reporting & Data Analysis * Performs data analysis and compiles data for sales ratio studies * Reviews property characteristics to determine relevant factors which affect property values such as quality, topography, depreciation, and other factors * Assembles, analyzes, and formats information into statistical reports for departmental staff * Prepares and distributes computerized information, reports, and replies in response to information requests from agency staff or the public Liaison & Training * Serves as departmental liaison in matters relating to information technology systems * Provides information and assistance related to technology programs, services, documentation, procedures, problems, or other issues * Responds to questions and complaints, researches problems, and initiates problem resolution * Advises and trains users and assists in reviewing computer hardware and software to make recommendations and facilitate acquisitions * May serve as team lead for IT related projects Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Suffolk, VA.
