Job Description

Supports Global Markets Finance in financial and operational evaluation of prospective international opportunities providing insights and consultation to ensure profitable growth and pricing discipline.

Act as a single point of contact with the Global Markets commercial team to provide support with pricing inquiries, adjustments to invoices, problem solving, direct communication with customers, and document retention. This position requires analytic reporting of volume and revenue and the drafting of contracts.

Oversee the collection process for Global Markets accounts for several different collection teams. Run monthly accounts receivable reports and advise any arrears over 90 days to the Global Markets Finance team. Provide support for the collectors as required including but not limited to contacting customers directly, contacting the commercial team for assistance and establishing the demand process timeline.

This professional can work in a 100% remote capacity and must be located in the US.



Responsibilities:

Pricing:

* Performs financial analyses required for Global Markets customers including the compilation of fee schedules, revenue projections and "what-if" scenarios.

* Responsible for mapping client test codes to affiliate Quest billing systems and competitors' test codes.

* Develops pricing and profitability analyses with emphasis on profitable growth and pricing discipline.

* Operationalizes Global Markets contract exclusions and Global Markets pricing guidelines.

* Operationalizes Clinical Franchise pricing guidelines.

* Serves as a subject matter expert to business partners regarding pricing, strategies, and contracts.

* Interfaces directly with Global Markets leaders regarding the cost implications associated with new and existing contracts.

* Develops methods to streamline the pricing review and authorization process.

* Supports due diligence efforts by evaluating contracts.

Commercial Support:

* Acts as support for Commercial Sales Representatives; submits and monitors progress of incoming requests associated with both existing and new business.

* Obtain any missing information required to complete the entry of data required for the start-up of new accounts including demographic information, pricing, credit history, connectivity requests, and agreements.

* QC entry into lab and billing system for all new accounts.

* Create & maintain client files for audit purposes

* Monitor approval turnaround time for new client start-up process, request any additional data required to obtain approval and communicate status to commercial sales representatives.

* Facilitate and process demographic, pricing, connectivity requests and billing adjustments for existing customers submitted by Commercial Sales to increase the productivity of the commercial sales representatives.

AR Management:

  • Pull invoice data from the billing system and provide a monthly report to Global Finance of any nonpayment issues.
  • Review accounts for action items needed and notify the collector of any action required.
  • Manage the demand process approvals and track the letter due date timelines.
  • Communication with the commercial team, finance team and billing teams on any issues or concerns.


Qualifications:

Required Work Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pricing, sales analysis or in a comparable business environment

Education Preferred:

* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, marketing, economics, business administration or equivalent work experience.

Work Experience:

* Strong understanding of pricing, billing, contracts, operations, and sales.

* Strong organizational skills.

* Strong analytical skills with the ability to realize the impact of technical and pricing changes on areas such as client pricing, legal compliance, billing, etc.

* Strong financial and analytical thinking skills.

* Strong influencing skills.

* Innovative thinking to work effectively cross-functionally in a matrixed environment.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).

* Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

* Proven track record in delivering results.

* Strong PC skills (Microsoft Office Suite, MS Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
