Summary
Responsible for overseeing the training and development of staff within a specific department or area. This role typically manages daily training schedules, delivers training modules, assesses competency, and ensures compliance with hospital policies. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions Creating and conducting training courses for new hires and existing staff on clinical procedures, safety protocols, equipment usage, and hospital policies. Coordinating training sessions, assigning trainers, and ensuring adequate coverage for different shifts. Evaluating staff performance during training and through practical assessments to verify competency levels. Maintaining accurate documentation of employee training completion, including dates, scores, and any required re-training. Collaborating with department managers to identify areas where staff require additional training or skill development. Ensuring all training programs adhere to relevant healthcare regulations and hospital standards. Providing initial training for new hires to familiarize them with the hospital environment and job expectations.
