Northwestern University is seeking a temporary full-time Administrative Assistant for the Evanston campus.

Temporary Job Description:

The office of Alumni Relations and Development is seeking a full-time temporary employee to provide administrative support to multiple teams, with primary responsibility for assisting the central Major Gifts and Leadership Giving teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and logistical support for Major Gifts Officers, including trip preparation, scheduling, materials coordination, and post-trip follow-up.
  • Support Leadership Giving programs and events through coordination, preparation of materials, and on-site or virtual assistance as needed.
  • Assist with general office support tasks, including data entry, document preparation, and coordination across teams.
  • Collaborate with staff across Alumni Relations and Development to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Qualifications Required:

Prior experience in an administrative or office support role. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
