Department:ICE | CASL CA Social WorkDepartment's Website: Summary of Job Duties:The Oncology Social Work (OSW) Program Manager (non-licensed) is responsible for the coordination, administration, and oversight of patient financial assistance programs within the Oncology Social Work department. This role manages the full lifecycle of financial assistance resources, including application review, grant administration (internal and external), expenditure tracking, and required reporting to ensure compliance and effective stewardship of funds exceeding $180,000 annually.The Program Manager supports high-volume patient assistance operations, facilitating eligibility determination and coordination of financial resources such as lodging, transportation, food support, medications, and other essential needs. This position ensures accurate documentation, tracking, and reporting of all assistance activities in alignment with institutional and funding requirements. Additionally, the Program Manager coordinates lodging referrals for patients utilizing free or reduced-cost accommodations, working directly with patients and community partners to assess needs and secure appropriate arrangements. This role is critical to ensuring timely access to financial support services, maintaining regulatory compliance, and optimizing the delivery of resources to oncology patients and their families.
