Senior Sourcing Manager
(Strategic Sourcing & Procurement) Employment Type: Contract or ContracttoHire Work Model: Hybrid Level: Senior / Leadership
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives across enterprise functions. This role is responsible for driving cost savings, supplier strategy, and operational excellence while overseeing the SourcetoContract (S2C) lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in strategic sourcing, thirdparty management, and professional services procurement, along with strong leadership skills and handson expertise in Oracle Procurement and Vendor Management Systems (VMS).
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Cost Management
- Lead and oversee enterprisewide strategic sourcing initiatives
- Drive savings and costavoidance programs, including opportunity identification, validation, and reporting
- Develop negotiation strategies that align with business objectives and foster sustainable supplier relationships
- Analyze industry trends and emerging procurement technologies to adopt leading practices
- Establish and maintain unified sourcing processes and governance standards across categories
SourcetoContract (S2C) Leadership
- Lead and manage the full S2C lifecycle
- Oversee supplier, contract, and category management
- Manage Statements of Work (SOWs) and contingent labor using VMS and ERP procurement tools
- Collaborate with Legal and Quality teams to create and maintain sourcing templates and governance frameworks
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Partner with senior stakeholders across business units, technology teams, and external vendors
- Provide expert sourcing insights to support strategic decisionmaking and business transformation objectives
- Build trusted relationships with internal clients and external partners
- Act as a subject matter expert in procurement, contract management, spend management, and accounts payable
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a highperforming sourcing and procurement team
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and innovative team culture
- Provide onthejob coaching and professional development for team members
- Ensure highquality delivery, on time and within budget
Operational Excellence & Business Growth
- Identify and execute process improvement and operational excellence initiatives
- Support business growth, revenue, and transformation strategies through effective procurement partnerships
- Monitor risks, track progress, and communicate outcomes to stakeholders
- Assist internal clients in identifying additional sourcing and optimization opportunities
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, enterpriselevel sourcing initiatives
- Proven ability to manage multiple senior stakeholders concurrently
Technical & Systems Expertise
- Strong experience with ERPbased procurement solutions
- Handson experience with:
- Vendor Management Systems (VMS)
- SourcetoContract tools
- Experience managing SOWs, services procurement, and professional services categories
