What you'll bring Knowledge and Skills The position requires a working knowledge of finished goods staging and distribution methods. Requires a working knowledge of packing and securing finished goods for transportation that includes truck, rail, container, and air freight. Requires a working knowledge of the freight transportation industry in general, including freight tariffs and documentation. Requires sufficient human relations skill to exercise leadership and direction over others, to communicate clear instructions, and to maintain harmony with peers. Abilities Requires the ability to carry out all of the accountabilities of the position. Requires the ability to prioritize, plan, and expedite movement of finished goods. Must be able to keep accurate records of shipments. Education and Experience The position requires completion of high school plus formal training in motor truck operations and three years of experience directing people and traffic through a high-volume central shipping area.
