Olgoonik is an Equal Opportunity Employer Overview: FPM Remediations, Inc. is currently seeking an Environmental Engineer, Scientist, or Geologist for a mid-level full-time position at its Chandler, AZ office. This is an excellent career advancement opportunity for an individual with approximately 3-8 years of relevant professional experience to join a team of dedicated and knowledgeable environmental professionals. This position will provide an opportunity to apply the latest technologies to conduct site investigations, data analysis, and remediation of contaminated sites across the country for our clients. The role is ideal for a technically strong candidate interested in developing as a well-rounded environmental consultant, with experience or interest in site assessments, field investigations, data interpretation, GIS/data visualization, and technical report writing. Education and/or Experience: The Environmental Engineer/Scientist/Geologist II will have the following qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Professional certification or licensure (e.g., EIT, PG, or PE) is preferred, or progress toward obtaining such credentials Security Clearance: Must be able to successfully complete a U.S. government administered investigation. Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to handle tools and equipment. The employee must be able to reach, climb, balance, stoop, and kneel, and effectively see, hear, and communicate. Fieldwork may involve working outdoors and navigating uneven terrain and natural obstacles. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Travel: Travel to field sites will be required as needed, with approximately 30-50% travel initially, decreasing over time as the role becomes more technically focused. Travel may include participation in and coordination of fieldwork, as well as meetings with clients and project stakeholders. Work Environment: General office and field work environment.
