The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting. This position will source, screen, interview and recommend the best possible talent to be hired through a partnership with internal leaders and the Talent Acquisition Team. The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for fueling talent to First United Bank to meet current and future organizational needs. This person will be responsible for delivering innovative sourcing strategies and implementation plans that result in a robust pipeline of qualified candidates.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

  • Source candidates via the website, employee referrals, LinkedIn, and other passive sources.
  • Conduct screening interviews via phone or in person.
  • Facilitate online assessments and assist in their interpretation
  • Arrange interviews with hiring managers and participate when required. Facilitate the interview and use behavioral questions to help hiring managers gain insight.
  • Communicate with internal and external candidates and hiring managers throughout the process.
  • Present verbal offers to candidates.
  • Develop applicant sources including through internal networks, industry sources, and associations.
  • Build strong relationships with the hiring managers as well as the human resources team.
  • Stay abreast of trends through conferences and networking groups.
  • Participate in staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars.
  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Work with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws.
  • Recommend advertising programs (internal/external) in order to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Dresses professionally.
  • Completes all required compliance exams on a yearly basis.
  • Adherence to all First United Policies and Procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

EMPLOYEE SPECIFICATIONS

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years full life-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a corporate banking/financial services environment recruiting for revenue-generating positions.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
  • Experience sourcing and screening high performing Bankers strongly preferred

Technical/Functional Competencies

  • Prior experience with LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Prior experience with Workday preferred.
  • Exhibits sound and ethical judgment.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality guidelines.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Demonstrates good judgment and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to communicate well by all means of communication including written, verbal, and non-verbal communication.
  • Strong follow- through on projects and deliverables
