Job Summary

The MRO Repair Technician I is responsible for performing repair and overhaul activities on mechanical components, including fuel pumps and other commercial pumping devices. This role ensures all work is completed in accordance with approved technical procedures and regulatory standards. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow strict compliance and documentation requirements in a regulated environment.

Job Responsibilities



  • Disassemble, inspect, evaluate, and reassemble returned components in accordance with approved overhaul manuals and technical documentation
  • Perform repair and maintenance tasks in compliance with FAA, EASA, and CAAC procedures
  • Prepare accurate and complete documentation packages for each repaired or overhauled unit
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and approved procedures
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members to ensure efficient workflow
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as quality, customer service, and inventory to support repair operations
  • Communicate with external customers and auditors as required
  • Complete required training and ensure all certifications and records are properly maintained
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the department
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including support for receiving, shipping, testing, or inspection processes


Job Requirements



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years of experience maintaining or repairing mechanical devices such as pumps or motors
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, engineering drawings, and repair instructions
  • Familiarity with measurement tools and precision measuring equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work within regulated compliance standards
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship


Work Experience



  • At least two years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance or repair
  • Experience in an aerospace or regulated environment preferred


Education



  • High school diploma or equivalent required
