Job Description Summary Position Responsibilities * Participate in a two-year, cross-functional Finance and Accounting rotational program * Complete four (4) six-month rotations across core finance disciplines, with increasing scope and accountability * Gain exposure to Sunbelt's business model, operating environment, and financial structure * Develop financial, analytical, and business acumen through hands-on project work and real-world decision support * Partner cross-functionally with finance, operations, and corporate stakeholders * Deliver rotational capstone presentations summarizing learnings, project outcomes, and business impact * Execute an individualized development plan aligned with career goals and organizational needs * Receive structured mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback throughout the program Potential Rotations Include (but are not limited to): * Accounting / Operations Accounting o Support month-, quarter-, and year-end close processes o Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and account analyses o Partner with operations to ensure accurate financial reporting o Identify opportunities to improve processes and controls * Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) o Support company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning o Perform variance analysis and key metric reporting o Develop financial models and scenario analyses o Prepare materials for leadership reviews and decision-making * Operations Finance o Support business unit budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis o Analyze operational performance drivers, margins, and productivity metrics o Partner with operational leaders on financial and capital initiatives o Identify opportunities for operational and financial improvement * Financial Systems / Finance Technology o Develop an understanding of financial systems and reporting platforms o Support reporting structure development, maintenance, and optimization o Assist with process automation and data integrity initiatives o Partner with Finance and IT teams to translate business needs into solutions Additional exposure to other corporate finance areas may occur based on business needs. Requirements Education & Experience * Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field * Strong academic performance, typically evidenced by a GPA of 3.5 or higher * Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, analytical, and communication skills * Relevant internship or prior professional experience strongly preferred * Desire for continuous learning and development of cross-functional finance skills * Detail-oriented, proactive problem solver with strong analytical and quantitative abilities * Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment * Willingness and ability to travel periodically as required by rotation assignments Physical Demands: Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work.
