GENERAL FUNCTION

The Senior Manager Commercialization is a senior commercial leader responsible for building and scaling customer-facing capabilities that drive organic revenue growth through improved sales execution at the point of care. This role focuses on B2B2C execution-designing, deploying, and scaling platforms, tools, and operating models, with an emphasis on digital, that help Eye Care Professionals convert more patients into purchasing Shamir products.

The position emphasizes improving in-store conversion and increasing capture rate-including upgraded lenses and multiple-pair purchases (e.g., prescription sunglasses, computer/office lenses, sport lenses, driving lenses) and partners with Marketing on growing to-store traffic. The Senior Manager Commercialization will also lead the development and implementation of sales tools and technology for ECP stores and major Doctor Alliances (Buy Groups).

This role partners closely with Marketing on demand generation and product launches while holding primary accountability for customer activation, execution quality, and revenue conversion at the point of care.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Commercial Growth & Customer Conversion



  • Drive measurable organic sales growth by improving in-store patient conversion, attachment rates, and average transaction value.
  • Translate commercial strategy into deployable execution models that increase capture rate and revenue per patient.
  • Define, track, and optimize KPIs related to adoption, execution quality, conversion lift, and revenue impact.


Sales Tools & Technology Development



  • Lead the design and implementation of sales tools and technology for ECP stores and major Doctor Alliances (Buy Groups).
  • Ensure tools are intuitive, operationally viable, and aligned with real-world customer workflows.


Customer Adoption & Capability Scaling



  • Drive growth in the number of customers actively using Shamir's commercial platforms and capabilities.
  • Own onboarding, enablement, and reinforcement models that support sustained adoption and measurable outcomes.


Commercial Transformation Leadership



  • Identify gaps in current operating models and design solutions that drive efficiency, scalability, and growth.
  • Collaborate with global teams (SOI) to share scalable solutions that support U.S. priorities while benefiting international markets where applicable.


PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS

Success in this role will be measured by:



  • Adoption: usage of commercial platforms across priority customer segments.
  • Conversion: measurable improvements in capture rate, multiple-pair rate, and revenue per patient
  • ROI and scalability of commercial platforms and capabilities.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Senior leadership experience in commercial enablement, digital transformation, or sales strategy within healthcare, vision care, medical devices, or adjacent B2B environments
  • Proven ability to build and scale digital platforms, systems, or commercial operating models
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%, domestic and/or international, as needed


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

MBA or other advanced business degree

Certifications

ABOC (American Board of Opticianry Certification) or other relevant optical certification

Experience

Optical Industry experience

Familiarity with ECP workflows and point-of-care decision-making dynamics

Experience scaling sales enablement platforms, digital tools, or customer-facing technologies

Pay Range:129,224.35-208,377.70
