Job Purpose

Provide analytics, collaborative support, and effective communication as a member of a highly creative team responsible for performance reporting of the NE Electric Capital Projects portfolio. Senior Analyst in the Electric Capital Portfolio Oversight group will support stakeholders in the financial forecasts development process, provide portfolio-level analytics and reporting for senior management decision making, and deliver portfolio optimization outcomes for Electric functions. At the Senior level, this role will also support delivery of policies, procedures, and process/tool enhancements that advance the Capital Portfolio Oversight overall effectiveness for the NE Jurisdiction.

Key Accountabilities
  • Ensure adherence to the monthly cadence of cost reporting, portfolio management, and forecast-process deliverables.
  • Lead research and analysis activities and produce forecast and budget information that informs key themes and trends leveraging BI analytical tools (i.e. PowerBI)
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, internal and external to Electric functions, with respect to data required for business decision making.
  • Contribute to development of monitoring and measurement approaches that direct focus on ways to improve portfolio performance and project delivery.
  • Support translation activities of business objectives into clearly communicated annual plans to support achievement of departmental/operational targets.
  • Demonstrate initiative and drive for delivering innovative, meaningful, and measurable business benefits.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance required
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in business analytics, frinance or related areas required.
  • Proficiency with relevant software e.g. Microsoft Office products Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and strong is preferable.
  • PowerPlan and SAP experience is a plus.

Salary

$105,000 - $126,000 a year
