Our advisory team builds upon established client partnerships and enhances our traditional engineering services to more effectively address client needs and achieve their objectives. With expertise in design and construction procurement, stakeholder and client engagement, and commercial negotiations, our team is experiencing ambitious growth.

Due to recent project success and the continued growth of our advisory team, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Project Manager with experience of in-design and construction procurement models including professional services, Design Build (DB), Progressive Design Build (PDB), Design Bid Build (DBB), and General Contractor / Construction Manager (GC/CM).

This position focuses on assisting client projects, developing crucial deliverables, and proactively seeking opportunities for growth. The candidate will help deliver several strategic initiatives for clients, including taking the lead on procurement options analysis, preparing procurement documents and contracts, and overseeing project setup for major infrastructure undertakings.

The candidate should show excellent ethical judgment, think ahead, and be well-organized when leading the planning and coordination of negotiations in an environment with strict governance and high standards of probity.

Typical work will involve:



  • Supporting government authorities with strategic and technical advice for the procurement, delivery, and operations of their infrastructure programs and projects;
  • Structuring and developing procurement documentation, including negotiated forms of procurement such as professional services, GC/CMs, and PDBs;
  • Experience in construction contract management and negotiations;
  • Project management mandates;
  • Drafting reports and project audits;
  • Supporting risk management for both internal and external mandates;
  • Supporting and leading the preparation of proposals;
  • Internal project management (including budgets) and reporting;
  • Business development and client engagement; and,
  • Supporting initiatives for the regional and global business.



Candidates who can demonstrate the following skills and experience will be considered for the role:



  • A post-secondary degree with 10+ years of career experience related to the development of technical procurement documentation, engineering and/or infrastructure development;
  • Ideally, the candidate should possess a background in contracting, with knowledge of construction scheduling, risk transfer, and the ability to provide informed opinions on buildability concerns.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of preparing GC/CM or PDB contracts.
  • Experience with structuring procurement packages.
  • Familiar and proficient with project management processes.
  • Experience of projects in transit, water, tunnels, or highways projects are preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience of risk identification, management, and mitigation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of leading and working within a team.
  • Excellent written and presentation skills.
  • Able to work independently and unsupervised.
  • Positive attitude, team player.

Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills.

The expected salary for this position is $155,000 - $189,000.
