This Part-Time Patient Lodging and Support Services Specialist supports the day-to-day operations of UVA Health's Patient Lodging and Support Service programs, which help reduce barriers to care for patients and families. This role ensures access to safe, comfortable accommodations for patients and caregivers traveling long distances for treatment, patients who have been discharged but must remain close to the hospital for follow-up care, and patients who require monitoring in a supportive, non-clinical environment.
Serving as both a welcoming first point of contact and an essential operational partner, the Specialist helps ensure the Hospitality House and contracted lodging programs run smoothly, efficiently, and with a focus on delivering an exceptional guest experience.
