Position Summary

Job Purpose Statement

The prime function of this position is to provide support to the supply chain through collecting, loading, shipping, and receiving warehouse products. Responsible for operating technical equipment, optimizing loading for efficient logistics and supporting other warehouse functions to ensure optimal operation of the business.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Support and adhere to Parker's Code of Ethics, policies, and procedures and observe housekeeping guidelines. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Essential Functions

  1. Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
  2. Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items.
  3. Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
  4. Managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment.
  5. Printing and applying shipping labels.
  6. Properly handle material within company protocol.
  7. Mark pallets as required for identification.
  8. Responsible for housekeeping and organization standards in assigned areas of warehouse.
  9. Adhering to safety management standards.
  10. Identifying workplace safety hazards.
  11. Follow set priorities throughout shift.
  12. Perform weekly forklift safety verification.
  13. Inspecting for damages, shortages, and reporting quality deficiencies.
  14. Responsible for constant training.
  15. Other duties as assigned.

  1. High School Diploma or GED required.
  2. Forklift Certification.
  3. Demonstrate good work ethics in teamwork and individual work.
  4. Ability to work well under pressure and execute duties in a prioritized manner.
  5. Ability to meet targets for safety, quality, cost, customer service.

While performing the essential functions of this job, the associate will be required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The associate will be required to stand for long periods of time, sit, and/or reach with both hands and arms. The associate will occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Normal weight to be lifted or moved is between 0 to 15 pounds. The associate will be exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
