Mercy Clinic Springfield - Behavioral Health Lark

Full-Time: Monday - Friday

Overview:

Predominantly responsibleforcare coordinationneedsof incoming clients,includingdiagnosing,consultation,providingevidence-basedmental healthinterventions, and managing crisis situationsforindividualclientsand groupsin an outpatientteam-basedsetting.Additionally, the clinician will also carry caseload of clients matched to their clinicalexpertiseand experiences.

  • Education: Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology.
  • Licensure: Licensed clinical social worker (LSCW), licensed professional counselor (LPC), licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT), or licensed psychologist.
  • Experience: Previous psychiatric experience.
  • Certifications: Must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Card or complete a course within their probation period.
  • Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Knowledge of a variety of therapy interventions, including brief therapy and psychiatric disorders; skilled in therapeutic communication and conflict management; able to defuse potentially violent situations, possess superior interaction and critical thinking skills and sound judgment.
