Join the Talent Acquisition team at the University of Colorado Anschutz and play a key role in shaping how we attract and hire top talent. The Talent Acquisition Consultant partners closely with HR Business Partners and hiring managers to deliver highquality and compliant recruitment services across a diverse portfolio of roles. In this highly consultative role, you'll manage fullcycle recruitment, advise hiring managers on best practices, and help position the university as an employer of choice. You'll collaborate with HR Business Partners, search committees, and campus stakeholders while gaining exposure to complex searches, workforce planning, and classification support. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented HR professional who enjoys balancing relationship building, process improvement, and handson recruiting. Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned departments-from intake meetings and sourcing strategy through offer and onboarding support. Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to develop effective recruiting strategies that align with business needs and promote fair, equitable, and defensible hiring practices. Proactively source and attract diverse talent using ATS tools, LinkedIn, Indeed, networking, social media campaigns, and talent pipelines. Represent the university as an employer of choice by delivering an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience. Ensure compliance with state and university policies, including State Personnel Rules, OFCCP requirements, and Equal Pay for Equal Work regulations. Screen resumes, conduct interviews, advise on interview structure and questions, and support search logistics based on service level agreements. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the applicant tracking system (ATS), including dispositioning and search closeout. Attend and support job fairs and outreach events, actively promoting campus opportunities. Deliver training and guidance to search committees and stakeholders on recruitment processes, systems, and best practices. Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team on process improvements and special projects.

Minimum Qualifications:
Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree on a year for year basis. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience deploying search strategies to attract qualified applicant pools Demonstrated experience consulting with hiring managers or HR business partners and providing recruitment strategies to attract qualified applicants Experience working in an applicant tracking system and managing multiple recruitments Experience with the Department of War's SkillBridge Program and working with individuals with military experience Experience creating social media campaigns to attract qualified applicants Certification in selection or job evaluation from the State of Colorado (SPCP) or other professional HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, IPMA, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) Bilingual in Spanish is preferred

Conditions of Employment:
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship. Work a Hybrid Schedule: On-campus presence is required for a minimum of two (2) days on campus in the HR office suite. Sit or stand for extended periods while working in office settings. - Standard shared office environment with open or semi-open workspaces. Employees should expect background noise, nearby conversations, shared equipment use, and occasional odors (e.g. food, cleaning products). The environment may involve frequent interruptions, requiring the ability to maintain focus and professionalism in a collaborative space.

Anticipated Pay Range: |
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $59,000 - $62,000 annually. The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
