| Position Summary |
The employee in this position provides professional nursing care and treatment to students in the
UNC Asheville Health and Counseling Center. The employee will conduct needs assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide education to students. |

License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina. |
| Preferred Education/Experience/Skills |
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing with 1-3 years' experience providing nursing care to individuals in the 16-30 year old range. |
| Knowledge, Skills and Abilities |
Ability to provide nursing care which includes assessment and triage, carrying out provider orders, administering injections, performing venipuncture, collecting and processing of specimens, and completing documentation in the electronic medical record.
Ability to provide nursing care both face-to-face and virtually to students.
Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team by demonstrating skills related to time management, critical thinking, and communication.
