Desktop Support Technician - Fully In Person - Kauai Job Summary We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to support a PC Lifecycle Replacement project within a healthcare environment. This role is responsible for assisting with hardware and software support, imaging devices, troubleshooting technical issues, and decommissioning outdated equipment. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. This is an initial 6-month contract with the potential for quarterly extensions based on project needs and performance. Key Responsibilities * Provide hands-on support for desktop hardware and software issues * Image, configure, and deploy new desktop and laptop systems * Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for end users * Decommission and properly dispose of legacy equipment * Assist with inventory tracking and equipment management * Deliver excellent customer service to staff and stakeholders * Support ongoing PC refresh initiatives Required Qualifications * Basic experience with hardware and software troubleshooting * Familiarity with device imaging and deployment processes * Strong customer service and communication skills * Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds as needed Work Environment * On-site role in a healthcare setting * Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule * Free on-site parking available Employee Value Proposition * Gain hands-on experience in an enterprise-level IT environment * Opportunity to contribute to a large-scale infrastructure upgrade project * Exposure to healthcare IT systems and operations Business Impact This role plays a key part in supporting the organization's ongoing PC refresh initiative, ensuring employees have reliable and updated technology to perform their work efficiently.
