Assignment Length 6-Month Contract Position Summary The Healthcare Dispatcher / Communications Operator is responsible for managing high-volume inbound and outbound communications, coordinating services, and ensuring timely, accurate information exchange within a healthcare environment. This role requires strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work non-traditional schedules, including weekends and overnight shifts. Key Responsibilities * Answer and manage multiple phone lines in a fast-paced healthcare setting * Dispatch and coordinate healthcare-related services appropriately and efficiently * Accurately document calls, dispatch activities, and related information * Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external contacts * Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation, tracking, and reporting * Follow all organizational policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards * Maintain professionalism during high-stress or urgent situations Experience & Qualifications * Minimum of 1 year experience handling multiple phone lines required * Dispatch experience preferred, ideally in healthcare or similar environments * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel * Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure * Must be reliable and able to work weekends Education Requirements * High School Diploma or equivalent required Schedule & Training * Training Schedule: * Day Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (3 weeks) * Swing Shift Training: Tuesday-Friday (2 weeks) * Post-Training Schedule (Final Assignment): * Most likely Graveyard Shift: Thursday-Monday, 11:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. * Final shift assignment to be determined Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Murrieta, CA.
