Project Controls (Level 1) Project Controls

Day & Zimmermann is seeking a Project Controls Tech for a position located at TVA Allen Power Plant in Memphis, TN. Prefer local candidates - no per-diem available.

Position Summary

This is an entry level to minimum experience position, that may include individuals who have had previous experience within other functional areas. Under general supervision the individual performs the routine aspects of scheduling, cost analysis, scope control tracking, and reporting. With additional experience within one specialty, the individual is expected to participate in larger and more complex project controls assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Exposure to all aspects of cost control (development of craft/staff rates, study end user's procedures, perform exercises in SAP, and cost report development). Also, exposure to all proprietary software (PC Lite, D&Z Estimator, Win Estimator, Web Tool Box, Power BI).
  
• Once training is complete; support WBS development, budget creation, and other aspects in SAP.
  
• Support the development of Project Status Reports, field site Load Boards and Power BI cost reports.
  
• Assist with the execution of financial management, that includes budgets, tracking invoice milestones (as needed), reviewing timesheets, and earn value analysis, monitoring/forecasting cost.
  
• Support project and project definition close-out.
  
• Exposure to scheduling basics to assist efforts for in-house projects and field activities.
  

Experience/Preferred Skills

Entry level up to three years' experience in related project controls assignments

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $44,000- $151,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of union fringes).
