OVERVIEW
Lead daily department operations by supervising staff, monitoring work quality, managing supplies and equipment, and helping ensure efficient workflows and high performance standards. This role also supports hiring, training, employee development, budgeting, and the creation and implementation of department policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitors quantity and quality of work performed. Interviews, trains, supervises and evaluates employees. Maintains equipment and supplies for departments. Revises, develops, and implements policies, procedures and performance standards. Manages departmentalized expenses involving staff and materials.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE One year certificate from college or technical school; or a minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Bachelor of Science degree in a related field is preferred. Three to five years of Supervisory experience preferred. CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE N/A SKILLS AND ABILITIES Reception Team Leader will learn the receptionist's job duties and perform them when the need arises and be put onto a management call schedule. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of internet software, payroll systems, spreadsheet software, billing and patient appointment software and word processing software to include Word, Excel and Power Point.
SPECIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; reach with hands and arms. handling, fingering, feeling and stoop, kneel or crouch and see. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. LEVEL OF SUPERVISION N/A SUPERVISES
Directly supervises 25 to 30 employees in the Reception Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Supervisory responsibilities are conducted in accordance with directives of management, the organization's policies, and applicable laws.

$19.02 - $28.53
