Security Officer Afternoon Patrol

As a Security Officer Afternoon Patrol in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a busy logistics and distribution location, helping to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and routine rounds. You will support day-to-day operations by observing activity, reporting concerns, and delivering strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response actions when appropriate at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and other security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Support loss prevention efforts by observing shipping, receiving, and freight movement areas, reporting irregular activity, and helping to maintain order during busy operational periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
