As a Security Officer Patrol and Access Control in Pennsauken, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, assist customers and staff with professionalism, and bring strong communication to every interaction. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with store leadership and/or public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, policy concerns, and other security-related issues.
• Monitor for theft-related activity, trespassing, loitering, and/or disorderly conduct, and report concerns while following post orders and client-directed procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing routines, monitor high-traffic areas, and help support a professional environment for customers, employees, and delivery personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
