Summary
A Project Appointment-STUDENT (PA-STUDENT) classification is utilized at MCW for students for the purposes of furthering his or her education. In order to qualify for this position, student status must be proven. Primary Responsibilities
Required knowledge includes proficiency in biomechanics, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and injury risk assessment, with a strong background in mathematics and statistics. The candidate must demonstrate advanced technical skills in LS-DYNA, ANSA, and HyperMesh for computational simulations, alongside expertise in MATLAB and Python for data utilization and medical image analysis. Minimum Required Education: Must have student status at an accredited educational institution Preferred Education: Biomechanics. Physical Requirements
Work requires occasionally lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously. Work Environment
Occasional exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, or contact with water or other liquids. Work is performed in an environmentally controlled environment. Sensory Acuity
Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required. May occasionally require the ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects.
