The Director, Delivery Lead is a leadership role responsible for leading the successful delivery of cross-functional activities within the Project Elevate-SAP implementation. This leader owns accountability for business process transformation, stakeholder alignment, and value realization across all functional domains impacted by Project Elevate. Leads Business and IT leads across multiple towers, Sales & Distribution, Integrated Supply Chain, Record to Report, and Legacy ERP. This role is the primary bridge between business Functional leads and the Project Leadership Team (PLT) owning the successful delivery of the ERP implementation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Own alignment within the Function on the Enterprise Process
  • Create Key Decision Document (KDD) and partner with Functional Owners; escalate through governance model when required
  • Lead effort with other Functional Leads to create cross-functional KDDs and other decisions
  • Own and validate Change Impacts
  • Lead Stakeholder alignment
  • Forward thinking and able to proactively identify risks, and weigh resulting impacts
  • Champion the project solution and frame changes in a way that engages and excites the end user community
  • Serves as first point of escalation for Capability Leads
  • Drive change, gaining consensus across multiple parties with conflicting views
  • Review/Approve Increment Planning outputs and prioritization.
  • Plan and roadmap the objectives of future increments
  • Drive completion of readiness and deployment tasks for function
  • Participate in Testing, verifying delivered Capabilities against Sprint/Increment goals
  • Lead process improvement initiatives with a strong focus on data analytics, ensuring insights drive operational efficiency and decision-making
  • Support data governance activities, including the setup and standardization of Project Elevate sites
  • Analyze SAP S/4HANA processes and translate system activities into actionable business insights for end users
  • Drive alignment across manufacturing sites to ensure production output is accurately reflected and maintained within ERP product configurations
  • Partner with Business Process teams to ensure standards, workflows, and system processes align with both user needs and project objectives
  • Validate, support, and facilitate the rollout of SAP Signavio within Project Elevate, enabling process transparency and optimization
  • Ensure that process changes translate into measurable financial outcomes (e.g., reduced close cycle cost, working capital improvements, inventory reductions), not just system adoption.
  • Builds and frames financial insights for the Project Sponsor to communicate to the CFO, CEO, and Board how SAP enabled process improvements directly support the company's financial strategy across growth, cost structure, resilience, and scalability.



SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises assigned employees including staff selection and training; planning, assigning, and directing work; conducting performance reviews; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.



  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, project management or related field; project management and/or business management, or equivalent related experience. Master's degree preferred.
  • Must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience, including project lead roles especially large-scale projects with increasing leadership responsibilities.
  • 10 plus years of experience in the Building Material Industry or an equivalent distribution/manufacturing-based business.
  • Experience applying project management frameworks.
  • Experience with Digital Transformation and customer experience improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing "upward" among senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated history of talent development and successful onboarding
  • Experience in end-to-end organizational change management with proven experience in transformational initiatives preferred.

  • Solid project management methodology understanding ranging from waterfall to Agile and the PMO governance framework that supports them.
  • Understanding and management experience in program/project management, devising strategy and managing program effectiveness.

  • Familiar with project management methodologies and knowledge of project planning tools.
  • Strong planning, negotiating, and influencing skillset.
