Job Summary
The Welder/Fabricator is responsible for performing MIG and TIG welding operations on carbon steel and stainless-steel pipe systems. This role includes welding couplings, outlets, spool pieces, and pipe sections while ensuring precise alignment, structural integrity, and compliance with quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong fabrication background, the ability to read measurements accurately, and experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities



  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless-steel pipes
  • Weld couplings, outlets, and fittings onto pipe assemblies according to specifications
  • Assemble and fabricate spool pieces and pipe sections through precision pipe-to-pipe welding
  • Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for defects, alignment issues, seam splits, and overall quality
  • Verify proper alignment and fit of pipe fittings and assemblies prior to welding
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe welding work area in accordance with safety and quality standards
  • Report equipment malfunctions, repair needs, and safety concerns to management promptly
  • Read and interpret measurements using a tape measure and related tools
  • Complete required documentation and participate in online training modules as assigned
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production and quality goals


Job Requirements



  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of welding and fabrication experience required
  • Experience performing MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless-steel materials
  • Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic reading, writing, and computer skills required
  • Ability to inspect welds and identify defects or material inconsistencies
  • Knowledge of welding safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods
  • Must successfully complete an on-site weld test during the interview process
