Job Number: R0240010 Operations Lead The Opportunity: Platform operations requires a unique blend of cloud engineering expertise, operational rigor, and leadership. As a Platform Operations Lead, you understand how to build resilient systems, ensure operational excellence, and maintain secure, compliant environments at scale. We're looking for someone like you to ensure the reliability and performance of critical financial platforms hosted in AWS GovCloud. As a Platform Operations Lead at Booz Allen, you will guide the operation and evolution of a secure, scalable cloud platform. You'll bring deep cloud operations experience and handson AWS GovCloud expertise to support and modernize essential government financial systems. You will lead the implementation of resilient cloud architectures, lifecycle management, automation strategies, and proactive monitoring to meet the stringent performance, compliance, and security requirements of public sector financial operations. You Have: 10+ years of experience supporting cloud-based and enterprise-scale platforms Experience in an operationalrole in AWS GovCloud Experience with Terraform and infrastructure automation Experience supporting complex distributed systems, containerized services, and CI/CD pipelines Experience in cloud operations security, monitoring, logging, and incident response Experience with event-driven platforms, including Kafka, such as Confluent, Redpanda, or AWS MKS Public Trust Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: Experience with Kubernetes-native infrastructure tools, such as Crossplane Experience modernizing or supporting government financial systems Experience in a multi-cloud operational role Experience with Chaos Engineering or SRE testing frameworks Experience with quality assurance automated testing strategy AWS, Azure, or GCP professional-level certifications Vetting: Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client; Public Trust determination is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
