We are seeking a Maintenance Planner for the Oakdale, PA location. In this position, you will play a major part in improving the current Maintenance program by focusing on the needs and requirements of the facility in order to better protect the company's assets and reduce downtime by coordinating activities.

The primary purpose of this job is to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish; work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Execute all planning and scheduling of maintenance work; work with the operations team to manage work priorities, develop job plans, define parts and materials, and engage the proper resources to develop a safe, effective, and efficient plan/schedule. Responsible for the use and administration of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) program at the site level, including creation, update, maintenance of equipment, Preventative maintenance (PM), and safety records with the CMMS program. Responsible for the calibration program.

This is a day shift position, but could fluctuate based on business needs, some weekends as well.

The p Additional Responsibilities



  • Manage the flow of all maintenance work orders. Be responsible for the planning and scheduling of resources needed to perform any maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with the operations team in the development and maintenance of schedules and resource leveling by utilizing the site CMMS program.


  • Establish and maintain CMMS equipment files, parts inventory, equipment bill of materials, and PM schedules.


  • Maintain calibration program, to include entering calibration results into system of record and coordinating calibrations with outside vendors.


  • Manage all project work for production and other relevant areas

Basic Qualifications



  • General HS Diploma / GED
  • Minimum 1-3 years of previous industrial maintenance experience



Skills



  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and Power Point at a minimum) required to accomplish day-to-day work activities and willingness to learn additional programs.
  • Oracle, Maximo, etc. experience a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Effective interpersonal, leadership, and written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to successfully balance multiple projects at various stages with limited supervision in a fast-paced, competitive environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as with and through others to achieved desired results.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve difficult problems effectively and timely thru the implementation of long-term solutions.
  • Ability to effectively negotiate and resolve conflict.
