Position Summary Oversee the growth and strategy of The Salvation Army pertaining to music lessons within the Southern California Division. Implementing and monitoring programs for the purpose of musical growth and evangelical outreach. Focus on building instrument lessons, local ensembles, and music literacy around the division. Essential Functions
Working Conditions Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overhead. Ability to operate computer, copier and telephone. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Minimum Qualifications
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Experience
Skilled musician specializing in Brass, Vocal, or percussion with proficiency in other instruments (required)
Demonstrated excellence as a music leader. (required) Bachelor's degree or 4 years equivalent work experience. (preferred) Licenses & Certifications
Driver's License (required)
