About This Role
This position manages the Human Resources Hub and oversees the execution of human resources processes for the College of Agriculture. The incumbent serves as a strategic consultant for college leadership in determining staffing needs, executing employee personnel actions, administering HR policies and procedures and providing recommendations. The incumbent leads and directs the work of other all HR professionals serving the college. -Design and implement HR business processes that fit college needs. -Serve as a strategic consultant and partner to college and leadership in determining staffing needs. -Oversee all components of HR processes at the college level to include performance management, recruitment, onboarding, exit interviews, time and leave, contract management, pay administration, payroll, benefits and training and professional development. -Plan, monitor, assign and evaluate the work of staff and modify as needed to accomplish goals and objectives while instilling a customer-focused service attitude within the team. -Evaluate performance, identify development opportunities, and provide constructive feedback and coaching. Facilitate employee skill development necessary to meet current and future objectives of the team. Model motivational and coaching strategies. Worksite Description This position is On-site. All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law.
