Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory operations at the branch location. This role ensures customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped in a timely manner while maintaining organized inventory and a safe, efficient warehouse environment. The Warehouse Associate also assists with receiving deliveries, processing returns, and maintaining accurate system records to support daily warehouse operations.

Job Responsibilities



  • Pick, verify, and prepare items based on sales orders for shipment
  • Pull and recheck orders to ensure accuracy prior to delivery
  • Package and secure items to prevent damage during transit
  • Prepare and process customer returns for shipment to distribution centers, fulfillment centers, or suppliers
  • Sort and store materials in designated locations according to inventory organization standards
  • Identify and report damaged or non-compliant inventory to the warehouse supervisor
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Receive and process incoming inventory in the computer system
  • Operate forklifts or similar material handling equipment, if certified
  • May deliver orders to customers and obtain delivery confirmation signatures
  • May assist with counter sales or invoice processing as needed
  • Follow established safety procedures and warehouse protocols
  • Perform additional duties as assigned


Job Requirements



  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Basic math and reading comprehension skills required
  • Basic computer skills required for inventory and order processing systems
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record required
  • Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


Work Experience



  • Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience preferred
