What You'll Do:

Donor Administration Associates are assigned specific programs and are responsible for the activity in such programs, as well as partnering with other team members to ensure daily deadlines are met for all activities.

Salary is $55,000 plus an 8.4% annual discretionary bonus. Internal candidates are encouraged to apply; compensation based on experience and internal equity.

This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence Tuesday-Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.

Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Open new accounts and verify that all data is complete and accurate, within the established service level timeline for each program.
  • Review Contribution Agreement and verify that all data is complete and accurate.
  • Process account updates, as necessary, in the system of record.
  • Process and manage all cash, security, and property contributions into DAF accounts from donors in accordance with established service levels for each program.
  • Prepare and/or review donor gift receipts.
  • Communicate with financial advisors and donors, as necessary, to resolve issues, address inquiries and provide general support.
  • Assist the Donor Administration Management team, as needed, with special assignments and projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring:


  • Very strong organizational and time management skills
  • Detail oriented, capable of multi-tasking in a daily, deadline driven department, while keeping others well-informed
  • Excellent verbal, writing, interpersonal communication and proofreading skills
  • Competent and friendly telephone demeanor
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft office suite, particularly Excel
  • Skilled problem-solver
  • Both a team player and capable of independent work
  • Must have an inquisitive, investigative mindset, and be willing and able to "dig deeper," rather than accept information at face value.
  • Must possess unquestioned personal integrity and reliability; keep commitments, admit mistakes, accept responsibility for all departmental output and results, maintain confidentiality when necessary and appropriate, and act in the best interest of the organization at all times.
  • Minimum of one to three years of relevant experience
  • Success in meeting deadlines


Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree (General Business, Accounting, or Finance) preferred, or equivalent professional experience
