*NOC / Service Desk Technician (Contract-to-Hire)*
*Duration:* 6-month contract to hire *Schedule:* Rotating shifts in a 24/7 NOC environment (mix of days, evenings, and weekends; team-based rotation with advance notice; shifts range ~5-12 hours) We're hiring a NOC / Service Desk Technician to support a high-volume support environment and assist users with day-to-day IT and network-related issues. *What you'll do:* * Handle inbound support requests via phone and ticketing system * Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues * Walk users through clear, step-by-step solutions * Monitor and manage tickets; prioritize and escalate based on impact * Keep users informed and document resolutions accurately *What you bring:* * 1-3 years of help desk, service desk, or NOC experience * Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills * Experience with Windows, Active Directory, and ticketing systems * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment * Strong communication skills and attention to detail *Nice to have:* * Exposure to networking / Cisco environments * Linux or Windows Server experience * CompTIA A+, CCNA, or similar certifications *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Laurel, NJ. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
