APPLY TODAY What You'll Do: Support testing and troubleshooting of electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic train systems Develop and document test procedures, reports, and technical findings based on engineering documentation and customer specifications Perform continuity, voltage, and current testing on train system wiring and components Troubleshoot and resolve wiring and network issues involving Ethernet, LAN, and CAN Bus systems Interface with engineering teams and vendors to resolve technical issues and improve system performance Upload software to train system components and support overall test operations Job Requirements What You'll Bring: Associate degree in an Electrical, Electronic, or related technical field preferred OR equivalent military/technical training 2+ years of experience testing electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems 2+ years of troubleshooting experience involving wiring systems and network communications such as Ethernet, LAN, or CAN Bus 1+ years of experience performing pneumatic and/or hydraulic system testing 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics and drawings 1+ years of experience using electronic test equipment including meters, gauges, power supplies, or data loggers 1+ years of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint experience What Sets You Apart: Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and technical teams Adaptability to changing priorities, overtime, weekends, and shift work as needed Strong communication and technical documentation skills Passion for troubleshooting and continuous improvement in a high-tech environment Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and drug screen Contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term career growth potential Ability to work in manufacturing and rail testing environments requiring PPE and safety compliance After you apply, you may receive a call or message from our AI Talent Scout about this role or other opportunities that match your skills and preferences.
