The Health System Account Executive (HSAE) is responsible for driving strategic engagement and execution within assigned Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), health systems, and community-based hospitals. The HSAE plays a critical role in supporting Alzheimer's Disease (AD) patient journey, including readiness for adoption and operationalization of anti-amyloid therapies.
This role focuses on system-level problem solving, cross-functional coordination, and advancing infrastructure that supports early diagnosis, pathway development, and continuity of care. The HSAE operates with a consultative, matrixed mindset and partners closely with internal stakeholders to execute against health system priorities.
Key Responsibilities Account Strategy & Execution
Develop, own, and execute strategic account plans for assigned health systems and IDNs aligned with national and regional priorities. Drive system-level engagement focused on AD diagnosis pathways, care coordination, and infrastructure readiness. Identify opportunities and barriers within health systems that impact patient access, referral flow, and operational adoption. Serve as the primary point of contact for health system stakeholders related to system strategy and execution.
Health System Engagement
Identify, map, and engage key stakeholders including executive leadership, clinical leaders, pharmacy leadership, P&T influencers, care pathway owners, and operational decision-makers. Facilitate discussions that support pathway optimization, interdisciplinary coordination, and sustainable care models. Navigate complex health system environments with professionalism, adaptability, and strategic intent.
Infrastructure & Best Practices
Educate stakeholders on best practices for building and scaling infrastructure that supports proactive diagnosis and early intervention in AD. Share insights and learnings across the HSAE team to support replication of scalable solutions. Recognize and elevate local innovations and system-level successes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work in close partnership with matrix field teams to ensure coordinated engagement and clear role delineation. Align execution across internal stakeholders to support seamless account experiences. Participate in joint calls and meetings with cross-functional partners when appropriate.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with Eisai compliance and legal standards. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to company policies and approved materials. Represent Eisai with the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
Performance & Analytics
Monitor account progress against defined objectives and key performance indicators. Provide timely insights to leadership on market dynamics, system needs, and emerging trends. Adjust account strategies based on data, feedback, and evolving system priorities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. 5-7 years of pharmaceutical or healthcare commercial experience. Proven experience in account management, health system engagement, or complex stakeholder environments. Demonstrated understanding of IDN and health system dynamics. Experience in neurology, Alzheimer's Disease, specialty therapeutics, or site-of-care models preferred. Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in ambiguity and within a matrixed organization.

Eisai Salary Transparency Language: The annual base salary range for the Health System Account Executive (Southeast)(Field Based) is from :$175,100-$229,800
Under current guidelines, this position is eligible to participate in : Eisai Inc. Annual Incentive Plan & Eisai Inc. Long Term Incentive Plan.
Final pay determinations will depend on various factors including but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, and skills.
