- Define the architectural roadmap for unifying disparate patient-specific design tools into a cohesive, scalable software ecosystem
- Conduct applied research into emerging methods (AI/ML, automation, generative design, geometry processing) to advance patient-specific workflows
- Establish technical standards, frameworks, and design patterns to guide downstream engineering execution
- Collaborate with regulatory, quality, and clinical stakeholders to ensure solutions meet healthcare software requirements (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA, HIPAA)
- Prototype and validate novel workflow concepts, translating research outputs into actionable engineering specifications
- Mentor engineers and serve as a senior technical authority on patient-specific design and case management software
- Engage with internal users, clinicians, and external partners to capture pain points and validate solution direction

- Proven track record of leading platform consolidation, legacy modernization, or large-scale software transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of regulated software development (SaMD, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, HIPAA)
- Experience with case management, workflow orchestration, or clinical/manufacturing pipeline software
- Ability to operate fluidly between hands-on technical work and high-level strategic planning
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with engineering, product, regulatory, and clinical stakeholders
