Release Coordinator

The Trimble Dayton OH Construction group develops positioning and control products for earth moving and paving machines in the construction and mining industries, using technologies such as GPS, optical total stations, lasers and sonics. The products are used in a range of applications where the operator of the machine benefits from having accurate horizontal and vertical guidance.

We have a full-time opportunity in our Dayton, OH facility for a Release Coordinator on our Installation Solutions & Releasing team. Working with an international team, you will be involved in the release and lifecycle management of installation parts, kits, software, and licenses to support grade control on construction equipment. You will work closely with marketing, engineering, program management, operations, and supplier teams to release high quality products for the earth moving and paving industries.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist with discovery and scope of work for building a license

Drive clarity on what is contained in the license

Determine the BOM, cost, and feature role ups of a license

* Drive execution of license creation

Create internal team meetings

Create Epics in Jira (based on Aha! entry) - one per part number

Create and assign tasks in Jira, coordinate completion

Assign part numbers in Agile

Create ECO/MCOs in Agile to release

Manage steps needed to make a part sellable

Coordinate with Trimble to add licenses to virtual warehouse

Create tickets to release in EDS for Cat

* Release software and sellable hardware

* Inactive parts for business teams

* Create transition sheets to support the Transition Coordinator

Skills & Experience Required:

* Operations Management

* Experience with supply chain

* Ability to work well with others, drive activity, and lead people

* Effective communication skills (verbal and written)

* Problem-solving and time management skills

* Demonstrated customer focus and high attention to detail

Desired Skills:

* Experience in Manufacturing, Product Development, NPI, Compliance, Oracle, PIM, Agile

Travel is less than 10%

Compensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
