Description
The Office of the Queens County District Attorney ("QDA") seeks an experienced attorney to serve as the Director of Discovery Compliance & Law Enforcement Officer Witness (LEOW) Unit. The Director will oversee and coordinate the Office's discovery compliance obligations and officer disclosure functions, while providing strategic legal guidance regarding discovery practices and related prosecutorial disclosure requirements including Giglio/Brady obligations. The Director will supervise the Discovery Compliance Unit, LEOW Unit, and Parole Unit; manage interagency coordination efforts, assist in developing office-wide policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with statutory and ethical disclosure obligations. The position requires significant supervisory experience, strong legal acumen, and the ability to manage complex operational and legal issues in a fast-paced prosecutorial environment. Qualifications:
