FOX is seeking an Orchestration Engineer 1 to support the design, build, and deployment of automation and workflow orchestration solutions across the enterprise. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and business operations, helping connect systems, reduce manual effort, and streamline internal processes through automation.

In this role, you will work with senior engineers and business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and help translate them into practical, scalable workflow solutions. You will support efforts to replace repetitive, ticket-based, and multi-step processes with more efficient, automated workflows that improve how teams work across the organization.

You will contribute to FOX's shift toward an automation-first operating model by building integrations, supporting API-driven workflows, and helping deliver solutions that make everyday business processes faster, easier, and more consistent.

This is a hands-on role for an engineer who is eager to grow their automation, integration, and orchestration skills while contributing to high-impact work across the enterprise.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with senior engineers and business stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify process steps, and document automation opportunities

  • Analyze existing operational workflows and identify areas where automation can improve speed, consistency, and efficiency

  • Develop API-based integrations and custom logic using Python, JavaScript, or Node.js under guidance from senior team members

  • Support browser-based automation using RPA tools when APIs are unavailable or limited

  • Build, test, and iterate on workflow prototypes to help accelerate solution delivery

  • Follow established governance, versioning, testing, and release management practices for orchestrated workflows

  • Contribute to reusable automation patterns, templates, and documentation

  • Support enablement efforts for business users and help promote responsible automation practices

  • Partner with security, IT, and enterprise architecture teams to ensure automation solutions follow FOX standards

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or Node.js, with experience working with JSON and API payloads

  • Understanding of REST APIs, authentication methods such as OAuth and API keys, and common system integration patterns

  • Experience with workflow orchestration or automation platforms, including no-code, low-code, or programmatic tools

  • Ability to gather requirements, document workflows, and translate business needs into technical tasks

  • Interest in improving operational workflows and reducing manual or repetitive work through automation

  • Ability to work directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a collaborative environment

  • Familiarity with RPA tools or browser-based automation techniques

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to quality, speed, and business impact

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on simplification, efficiency, and automation-first thinking

  • Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

  • Experience supporting automation governance practices, standards, or documentation

  • Familiarity with enterprise systems such as HR, finance, procurement, or collaboration platforms

  • Exposure to AI-powered workflows and integrations

  • Experience creating internal documentation, training materials, or user guides
