Responsibilities
Position Overview Peraton is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to support a federal government customer in managing accountable property, procurement coordination, inventory operations, and lifecycle management activities across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will possess experience in government property accountability, procurement support, inventory management, shipping and receiving operations, and vendor coordination within regulated federal environments. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively across operational, security, logistics, and financial stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day asset management and procurement support activities for government furnished property and contractor-managed assets.
- Amend and maintain Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation to reflect evolving program requirements, operational changes, and compliance standards.
- Serve as the primary coordinator for shipping, receiving, inventory processing, declassification/sanitization, and reutilization of government property.
- Maintain accountability and control of high-value and accountable property supporting organizational operational requirements.
- Store, track, issue, and reconcile contractor-managed property in accordance with federal property management regulations and organizational procedures.
- Prepare procurement packages and supporting documentation for acquisition requests supporting headquarters operations and multiple CONUS locations.
- Conduct price analysis and market research for "like" items using approved vendors and procurement sources to support cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Coordinate with vendors to confirm pricing, availability, delivery timelines, and procurement requirements.
- Collaborate with requestors, government stakeholders, finance personnel, and security teams to validate funding availability, purchasing approvals, and installation or deployment requirements.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with organizational policies, federal acquisition procedures, property accountability standards, and security requirements.
- Track asset lifecycle activities including procurement, receipt, deployment, transfer, reutilization, and disposition processes.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, procurement documentation, shipping records, and audit support materials.
- Support inventory audits, property inspections, reconciliation efforts, and compliance reporting activities.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and procurement workflow optimization.
- Develop and maintain asset tracking spreadsheets, databases, reports, and operational metrics supporting management visibility and accountability.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 3+ years of experience in asset management, procurement analysis, logistics, property accountability, or related operational support roles (0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with HS Diploma/equivalent)
- Experience supporting government property management, procurement operations, or inventory control activities.
- Strong understanding of:
- Asset lifecycle management
- Shipping and receiving processes
- Property accountability procedures
- Procurement coordination
- Inventory management practices
- Experience preparing procurement documentation and conducting price comparisons or vendor analysis.
- Experience coordinating with vendors, finance personnel, operational teams, and government stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records in fast-paced operational environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Active TS/SCI or Q/SCI clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Department of Energy or Intelligence Community (IC) environments.

Target Salary Range
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
